Why should I choose to travel with T.O.A.S.T?
Toast Sicily is specifically designed for groups of up to 15.
Every detail has been carefully thought out and personally experienced by Tony who was originally born in Tusa and has been traveling throughout Sicily for the past 40 years. Every day you will experience the most authentic culture, cuisine, and history North-East Sicily has to offer.
From the time you arrive at Palermo Airport, until your departure from Catania Airport, we will be with you every step of the way. Packing and unpacking, and time on the road has been kept to a minimum because of the central location of Tusa. Knowledgeable guides will escort you through Palermo, Tusa, and Taormina. We have also allowed two days for you to customize your trip from our extensive choice of optional excursions.

How long will travel be in the mini bus?
We have carefully planned the itinerary so that time on the road is minimized. For example, the longest duration will be between Tusa and Taormina which is one way and approximately 2.5 hours with photo time and rest stops as needed. Total estimated time on the road will be approximately 7 hours over the 10 day trip.
How many total people are allowed per group?
One of the most unique features of traveling with T.O.A.S.T. is the maximum size per group is 15 people. Our accommodations are mostly designed for double occupancy. But with T.O.A.S.T. we offer total flexibility with booking choices from 2-15 people. These choices can be further explained by one of our representatives.

What does the trip include?
All transfers including airport pick-up & drop off, all overnight accommodations with free Wi-Fi on bus and Hotels, meals - 8 multi-course meals and 9 breakfasts, 3 guided tours - Palermo, Tusa, and Taormina. Hotel locations
All overnight accommodations are located in the central historic districts of Palermo, Tusa and Taormina.
How much luggage is allowed?
You are allowed to bring one suitcase per person with the dimensions of 30.5" x 22" x 12.5"(77.5 x 56 x 32 cm) and weight not exceeding 66lbs (30kg). You can also bring one piece of hand luggage not exceeding 12" x 11" x 6". Carry on bags must be small enough to store under the seats.
Is baggage handling provided?
We will assist those who require or request help with their baggage.
Do you accommodate special needs?
We make every effort to accommodate any special need requests, whether it be a dietary retriction or a physical limitation. Keep in mind, this trip involves a substantial amount of walking. In order to accommodate your needs as best as possible, we ask that you let one of our representatives know at the time of booking so we can assess the request and see how and where we can accommodate you.
Can I have laundry done?
We do offer laundry service during the 7 days in Tusa.
Single or Double Occupancy?
Two of our six bedrooms have two separate beds. Four of our bedrooms have queen beds or larger.
Can I use my electrical appliances?
We recommend that you bring a universal travel adapter. We will only be providing adapters in Tusa if needed.
Do you have a non-smoking policy?
Smoking is prohibited in all of the overnight accommodations as well as the mini bus.
How can I keep in touch with family and friends?
An app known as Whats App is available to be downloaded on just about all phones. This app allows individuals to contact with their family and friends when on Wifi.
How do I book an optional excursion?
You can choose from our list of excursions located on our site on the excursions page. Excursions must be booked at least 60 days prior to departure. A representative from T.O.A.S.T will assist you with excursion bookings.
How do I change my currency?
Currency can be exchanged at airports or banks. International debit and credit cards are accepted at most bank machines (ATMs) throughout the world. It is always a good idea to check with your bank prior to your departure to be sure that your cards operate in the destination you are traveling to.
